I wrote these words in October 2019 sitting on the beach in Mexico. I was getting to know myself in deeper ways than imaginable, and I was creating something I couldn't have foreseen.
🤍Starting this business has been one of the most joyful, fulfilling and deeply illuminating experiences. Being a CEO, and my own boss has been quite the ride. I knew it was going to be a leap to start my own business but the fact that my business is my face adds whole other layer. Coupled with the fact that I’m over here talking about grief and sexuality - 2 of the most "frowned upon" dinner table topics on the planet. If you only knew the amount of processing and moving with shame is happening over here behind the scenes - I've made it a damn art form! Whew!
You see, what I'm doing here is creating MY OWN DINNER TABLE. A table where your full range is given a seat at the damn table. I'm talking about your bullshit, your rage, your tears, your truth, your rawness, your humanity, your pleasure, your bliss, AND your ecstasy.
