What scares you

✨The goddess within you is waiting to be reborn. But if you’re anything like me, standing on the edge of any big precipice: queue the fears, resistance and hesitations. Am I right?

Tell me, what scares you most about bringing more pleasure into your life? I often hear:

🌧Being judged, shamed or rejected for 🌧Being too shiny
🌧Being too visible
🌧Unwanted attention
🌧Lack of confidence

Depending on where you are in your journey, these fears can be absolutely paralyzing. They can make you run in the other direction and say this just isn’t for me.

👑That’s why the first step to bringing more pleasure in is holding your sweet nervous system and establishing safety around pleasure. Telling the parts of you that want to run that it’s safe to have and to hold more goodness. And sourcing that safety from within.

You see, as babies our birthright was pleasure. We took pleasure in finding our feet for the first time, in being present with all 5 sensations. And along the way of life as we matured, we received subtle messaging that being too glowy or too shiny will result in judgement, rejection or shame. These messages (often unknowingly) drop into your nervous system to protect you. And they form walls. In some cases, the walls actually do serve as protection. And sometimes those walls are no longer in true service of you. Sometimes the threats are gone, but the walls remain up. Depending on where you’re at in your journey, we might spend the first few sessions with these walls. Bringing understanding to why they went up to begin with and opening up a dialogue with these parts of ourselves.

❤️To access more pleasure, you don’t need to demolish the walls, you just need to form a relationship with them that’s truly in service to you.

💃Imagine if you were in an understanding relationship with your walls instead of in resistance to them? Instead of being incredibly mean to yourself, what if you brought in 1% more acceptance to these parts of you? You can have the walls AND have more pleasure in your life. It’s a metaphorical dance. And I’m one of the best “dance” instructors on the market.
